can i even join a credit union?
Most likely! There’s a good chance you either live in an area or work for an employer that qualifies you for a Skyla membership. If not – no worries! You can join through our partner association, the American Consumer Council (ACC) (but don't worry - we'll handle this for you!)Open your account today!

how do i sign up for digital banking?
Enroll or call a customer service representative at 704.375.0183. You may also visit any of our branches.
Our routing number is 253075028. You can also always find it at the top and bottom of any page of the Skyla website!
checks & cards faqs
can i get a cashiers check from you?
Any of our locations can print you a cashier’s check for $5 per check, with a minimum of $100. Please visit our locations page to find a branch near you.
i forgot my pin
No problem! You can change your pin number through Skyla's Digital Banking under Card Management > Card Controls.
i have a lost or stolen card
If you have a lost or stolen card, DO NOT report lost or stolen cards through email. Please report your card through Online or Mobile Banking, or by contacting us at 704.375.0183.
If you think you may have just misplaced your card and need time to look for it, log in to Digital Banking and use the Self Service tab to Block Card.
how long will it take to get a card?
You should receive your mailed card in 7-10 business days. Or - if you’d like it faster - stop by any of our branches to get an instantly issued card (it will cost $10 to replace a lost card).

do you have a coin machine?
Our Central and Matthews branches all have coin machines available for Skyla customers’ use. For directions, please visit our locations page.
where are your atms?
We have quite a few Skyla ATMs across the area. For a full list, visit our locations page. Not close to a Skyla ATM? Avoid paying a surcharge fee by visiting any CashPoints ATM. Your first 6 non-Skyla ATM withdrawals per month are free (does not include the machine surcharge). For a full list of no-surcharge ATMs throughout North Carolina, check out this locator.
do you provide wire transfers?
Yep! Wire transfers can be done through Skyla's Digital Banking. Navigate to Self Service > Domestic or International Wire. Follow the instructions provided to complete the process.

herman hoose scholarship
Each May, Skyla awards 20 $5,000Herman Hoose Scholarships. Each scholarship is awarded to a deserving student who is graduating from high school in the current school year and enrolls in an institution of higher education for the fall of that same year.
