Meet the Team – Tiffany Yee

my financial planning philosophy & a bit about me

I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. I grew up on a beautiful island in your typical middle-class family and earned my degree from the University of Southern California. Today, I reside in Pasadena, California with my family including a toddler and three dogs. I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy traveling, gardening, swimming, and making the most of California’s beaches and mountains.

Prior to joining CFS, I worked at the Financial Planning Division of MetLife and Ameriprise Financial. I have been a financial advisor for over 15 years, I spent the last 10 years specializing in working with engineers and ESOP plans. I truly believe in empowering members with knowledge to make smart decisions and a collaborative and holistic financial planning approach. I truly believe that working at CFS @ Skyla FCU is the best possible place for a financial advisor. We maintain a service-driven – not sales-driven – culture that enables us to stay objective and spend our time and energy to develop many deep and meaningful client relationships over the years.

For me, my success is seeing my clients buy a new home, put in their retirement notice, and live out the dreams they “always wanted to” do (and not always in that order!). The excitement and satisfaction I hear in their voices and see on their face is what inspires me to put together a customized financial plan and work hard on their behalf every day.
